Everest Paper Mills Pvt. Ltd. (EPM) is the pioneer manufacturer of various grades of writing and printing paper in Nepal. This first paper manufacturing unit of the country was established in 1982 in Mahendranagar. EPM is an agricultural residue-based mill that uses various combinations of wheat straw, rice straw, bagasse, jute and waste paper as raw material. As of now, the operating capacity of the plant is 30 metric tonnes per day.
EPM’s products are at par with national and international standards. In 1992, it acquired a license to leverage National Quality Certification (the NS- Mark) in its writing and printing paper.
It houses a well-equipped laboratory with standardized testing facilities.
